A Bigger than Average Chicken Egg

So I just wanted to do a quick little blog on our chickens. The other day, one hen was making a lot of extra sounds and we wondered what was going on. So we went to check and found that one of them had laid a HUGE egg. It is about the size of a duck egg. It turned out to be a double yoker. I do want to add some info on feeding chickens with fermented grains, especially in the winter to ensure that they keep laying eggs. That will be in another blog.
